Mum's Birthday!

Today's was mummy's birthday.

I and my siblings had planned a surprise celebration for her.
We bought Vanilla Fruit Sponge Cake for the celebration and Snow Jelly(Xue Ge Aka 雪蛤) as her birthday present.

Not forgetting our dogs, We also prepared and bought special treats for them to join in the celebration.

Food Exhibition at Expo on 2 june 09

Today we went to the food exhibition at expo.. it's the last day of the food exhibition and look at the people there!!! a lot of people are there!!!








All the walkings, tasting of free food samples, carrying big and small bags of shoppings...








It does tired all of us... imagine about 8kg carrying all both your arms and hands... super heavy...

but it was fun... haha...

Dumpling Festival 2009

Today is Dumpling Festival.. mum prepared and made some dumpling for all of us...
It was delicious!

A few days ago, mum actually started preparing for the dumpling festivals...

So starting a few days ago, she's already busy with the ingredients and cooking...

All her hard work and effort paid of for these delicious, tasty and wonderful dumplings...

Shu Ee's back from her oversea trip and Soda's back home...

it's been some time since i blog again...

well,i'm kinda lazy... haha

anyway, Shu Ee's back from her oversea trip and she came over today to fetch Soda which she leave it with me and my sister to take care for 4 days while she's away for her trip..

So since day 1 till last night, i have been sleeping on the floor just to block Soda and prevent Soda from disturbing Amber from sleeping... When Amber(My beloved dog) is sleeping at night, when she's disturbed from her sleep, she will snap directly with no warnings! so i don't want Soda to get injured just because Soda accidentally disturb Amber's sleeps...

Anyway, i had quite a lot of fun having Soda around for this 5 days... i think i have lost touch with a puppy for a long long time! it's great to have Soda around although i wasn't use to it in the beginning and was a little shag at the start...

Soda was really energetic, curious and playful!!! and when each time, feeding Soda is a challenging task cause he will come dashing to his food!!! lol.. what a cute little glutton...

And for a small body of Soda, he's got really big paws and super strong too!

He's super sensitive to sound too! whenever i played a music, be it a k-pop music or classical music, his head will go tilling... cute reactions!!!

but i can somewhat sense that, although Soda is still a puppy, i can feel that he misses home, misses his "mummy"....

So am glad that he's back to his "mummy" today... haha

Happy Mother's Day 2009

Today is Mother's day. Wishing all mothers have a wonderful and enjoyable day with your family.

every year's mother's day, we always planned surprise to celebrated and spend this meaningful festival with our whole family but this year's mother's day celebration, my siblings and i don't made any plans because lack of finance(from our each of our)
so maybe tonight we'll just have a simple feast outside..
OS: hopefully next year, we can planned a really good celebration again..

Vesak Day 2009

Firstly, today is Vesak Day. so at here, I wish everyone have a enjoyable day¬

Today, i had my dinner outside with my siblings and mum. We had duck rice for dinner which was a delicious dinner.

After dinner, we went to the nearby spacious place, there is an Temple Dinner there.. we went to offer our prayers.

As we heard that there's the 3 Step - 1 kneel ceremony(3步1拜),we head to Bukit Gombark Stadium
and take a look. I remember me, my siblings together with our parents did participate it this ceremony once in the past too.. it was a good experience but was a little tiring and really dirty as that time was raining season hence we were all really wet, smelly and dirty at that moment.

but this year, we didn't participate in it. We just watched and chant along their scriptures as well...

haiz...today my mum went to her appointment with the doctor, and the results of her blood test is out...

she got diabetics...

this is a shocking news to me... right now,i'm real worried bout my mother...

SS501 - Another Pop Korea Boy Group

recently after watching a hot K-drama, "Boys Over Flowers" i came to know about this Pop Group whom the leader casted in as "Yi Ji Hoo"(Acted by Kim Hyung Joong) and the rest of the members participated in a few songs in the OST. (Because i'm stupid, Making a Lover)

Missing the clarinet...

some of you may know, in my sec 1 school years, i used to be a clarinet in the school's military band...

although i quit, and it's been a long time since i touched and played the clarinet but deep in my heart, i have never given up on playing and wanting to know about clarinet and music...

so, i was planning, after i got a job, i will start saving and buy a clarinet and start playing it again...

i have already found one that i really like on the internet and i have already am on terms with the seller...

and the 1st pro song that i wanna learn will be "Clarinet Polka".

OS: quite true about me...

Worried about mother...

Today early in the morning at 5am++, i was suddenly awaken by my sister.. i was told that mum's High Blood pressure raised and she was really not feeling well... dizzy and vomiting...
I wake up and went to my mum's room to see if she's ok....
i only had 3 hours of sleep but i wouldn't care as i wanna find out if my mother is ok...
me and sis took turn to measure mum's BP with the BP device... amber and dawn suddenly woke up and look for us at mother's room...

after a few hours of rest, mum's BP was still not normal... but she isn't feeling as bad as earlier on... after another 1 hour or so, mum and sis fall in sleep again... amber and dawn too were sleeping around too... including me..

all of us sleeped and woke up again around 11.30am... we had our lunched, feed the dogs their breakfast and walked them... then off the both of us, sisters accompany our mother to the nearby polyclinic to do a health-check up... though currently her situation is stable, what according to the doctor, my mum is suspected to have diabetics... it's not confirmed untill her follow up check up for the blood test and diabetics tests are done...

for now, i think, all of us will have to change our diet to something more simple, more healthy... reducing unhealthy food like fried food, oily food, sweet drinks and etc...

My dearest Amber's 5th Birthday!

Today is my beloved dog(JRT, the one in the middle), Amber's birthday... as i'm still not rich enough to afford her a birthday cake, so i just to buy some simple treats like breads and ice cream(which i usually don't buy de treats..) for her and her doggy siblings... She Ee's new puppy!

on 10 April 2009, we went to pasir ris farmway to accompany shu ee to get a puppy.. as she's a 1st time dog owner, so she asked me and betty (both of us each own one dog) to accompany her and to provide her neccesary advice..

we rearch there around 2++pm.. walked around then met up with the person who are suppose to show her the puppy... after viewing, screening the pup, shu ee decided on this puppy...(photo above) and named it Soda... wat a cute boy...

then we go of to the nearby pets mover to buy all the neccesary things needed for the puppy... and went back to the pet hotel to pick up Soda...

shu ee's friend give us all a ride to shu ee's house(thnxs for the ride) then me and betty get down to help set up the cage and everything....

just am glad and welcome shu ee on board as a dog lover!!!

This is a really nice Japanese drama talking about Three 18 year-old girls wished to become idols but rather unfortunately, their plain looks brought them nothing but attempted rape from producers/managers or failure from casting calls. By a stroke of luck, they were forced to dressed up as boys to escape from an assassin and talent scouted by a L manager(you’ll know what I mean if you watch the show). So, these girls finally got their wish, but under the circumstances that they MUST dressed up as male idols in front of their fans.

In the dramas, Mendol, this 3 ordinary girls(From left:Nami,Asahi, Hinata) were grouped and debuted in Persona(Their stage name in the show, From Left: Kai, Riku, Kuu).

Food Exhibition at suntec city on 22 March 09

yesterday went to career fair at suntec city with meiling... after the career fair,we went to food exhibition which is at level below the career fair..

after walking around in the food exhibiton,meiling wanna get a seat to rest and have her lunch...we managed to take a seat, got all our food...


Me and betty bought thrashaw noodles and shark fin soup..

Meiling bought teriyaki Balls...


There's so many people at the food exhibition especially that it's the last DAY!



Then awhile later, meiling went off with her bf to expo for popullar fair...
me and betty stayed to wait for mum..
while waiting for mum, we came across ice cream stall and bough this korea Red Bean Fish ice cream..












It was really yummy! after waiting for some time,mum arrived and we visited the food exhibiton with mum... we eat a lot of samples and bought some good deals such as bah Hwa, Tao Sau, Shark Fin soup, nonya po piah and etc... and i also treated mum to the korea red bean fish ice cream too!
in total,we had some wonderful times and got a lot of affordable food stocks too!!! haha~
